The forms and designs of Yutopian?s ceramics were analyzed in a doctoral dissertation by María Fabiana Bugliani who studied Formative period ceramic assemblages south of the Calchaquíes Valley (2008), later modifying her analysis in some particulars (Bugliani 2010). Like Izeta?s treatment of Yutopian?s faunal remains, Bugliani?s approach is comparative and offers good information about the assemblages recovered from Núcleos 1 and 2.
