Resumen:
In vineyard agroecosystems that are managed as monocultures, regulation functions like biological pest control are limited. Environmental heterogeneity viewed as biological corridors and vegetated inter-crop spaces, can enhance biotic interactions by means of predation and parasitoidism. Our hypothesis is that parasitoidism and number of predators of aphids will be higher in corridors than inside of the vineyard. We collected individuals of ?cerraja? (Sonchus oleraceus L.) in corridor, border, and center of three vineyards located in Tupungato (Mendoza) and we counted parasitoidized aphids, and eggs and larvae of hoverflies and ladybirds. We found higher parasitoidism in corridors, being also positively related with exotic plant cover. Number of hoverflies was higher inside of vineyards in two cases, while ladybirds were more variable according site and vineyard. Predators showed independence with the degree of parasitoidism.
