Resumen:
High milk production (HMP) dairy cows present a profound increase in feed intake which has beenassociated with higher steroid metabolism and lower concentration of plasma P4 and E2 compared withmedium milk production (MMP) cows. Low P4 may alter endometrial gene expression, reducing thecapacity of the uterus to support conceptus development. However, the effect of low P4 concentrations onendometrial gene expression is not well known yet. The aim of this study was to compare endometrialgene expression among HMP, MMP, superovulated (SO) and anestrous (ANE) cows during diestrususing RNA-seq technology. Grazing lactating dairy cows (~50 DIM) without any clinical disease wereallocated to four groups: HMP (~10,000 kg/305d, n=3), MMP (~7,500 kg/305d, n=3), ANE (follicles
