Resumen:
Objective. To analyse the influence of geolocation on the clinical systemic presentation of primary Sjögren syndrome (SjS) at diagnosis.Methods. The Big Data Sjögren Project Consortium is an international, multicentre registry created in 2014. The centers share a harmonized data architecture and conduct cooperative online efforts in order to refine collected data under the coordination of a big data statistical team. Inclusion criteria were the fulfilment of the 2002 classification criteria. By January 2018, the participant centres had included 10475 valid patients from 22 countries. Centers were first classified by continent, with an additional north-south sub-classification according to latitude in continents including patients from > 1 country (latitude > or < 50?N in Europe, equator > or < in America and latitude > or < 30?N in Asia). Systemic involvement at diagnosis was retrospectively classified and scored according to the ESSDAI.Patients. The highest baseline ESSDAI scores were homogeneously reported from Southern countries in Europe (7.2 vs 4.6 in Northern Europe p
