Resumen:
Mixed TiO2-a-Fe2O3 powders with 10 at. % of  Fe were prepared by high-energy ball milling. The influence of the preparation method was studied by Mössbauer spectroscopy, X-ray diffraction and magnetometry experiments. The obtained phase was predominantly rutile Ti(Fe)O2, remaining a few percent of the initial hematite phase. In all VSM (no esta definida la sigla) curves taken at 300 K, a magnetic behavior and a paramagnetic contribution were observed. The magnetic response could be attributed to Fe uncompensated moments in a hematite/rutile interface. On the other hand, the paramagnetic contribution was associated to Fe substituting Ti in the rutile phase with a magnetic moment of 5.24 mB/Fe.
