The present chaper deals with one of the groups of Curculionoidea, the family Belidae (Belinae and Oxycoryninae).  The Curculionoidea are covered in several chapters, on a book that is the third of three volumes in the Handbook of Zoology series, which treat the systematics and biology of Coleoptera.
