Resumen:
ABSTRACT This work shows the archaeological and pedological reconstruction of an archaeological floor situated in the summit sector of a hill that forms part of the area covered by the site Horco Molle, that is located in the eastern piedmont of the Sierra San Javier (Yerba Buena, Tucumán). This place is inserted in a secundary jungle surrounding whose particular environmental dynamic favors the developement of intense pedogenetic processes that, in addition to the human alteration that the site has suffered and the low range of its archaeological contexts, make the detection of ancient human surfaces difficult. To that end the arcaheological record is analyzed and integrated to the discussion of pedological determinants (PEA, PER, POROSIDAD y MO) that confirm the presence of an occupational surface in the pre-hispanic sector.
