Resumen:
The WAC Student Committee (WACSC) w as created to provide representation for all student members of WAC, to encourage
student participation in academic events, and to advocate for students w ithin WAC. We present an update on the activities of the
WACSC and highlight our plans for the future. Members of the committee w ill reflect on their motivation for joining WAC and this
committee, and discuss how this has enhanced their professional careers. It is hoped that this presentation w ill lead into discussion
w ith student members of WAC that w ill help to further develop the role of the Student Committee.
