Resumen:
A detailed analysis of the evidence for behavioral association between humans and megamammals for the different habitats of South America is presented. The result is that very few regions offer some conclusive evidence of interaction -human hunting or scavenging-, basically Pampa and Patagonia. Some patterns are presneted and its implcations are discussed.
