Resumen A partir del estudio riguroso de la cerámica egipcia e importada de Tell el-Ghaba, norte de Sinaí, Egipto, dentro del contexto estratigráfico de donde provienen, su asociación con otros hallazgos culturales, su comparación con la cerámica proveniente de otros sitios contemporáneos del Delta oriental, del Sinaí y del Alto Egipto, así como del Levante y del Mediterráneo oriental, y su marco histórico, se ha podido establecer la datación del sitio. La elaboración del corpus cerámico, aún en desarrollo, permitirá su datación definitiva. Palabras claves: egiptología, arqueología, cerámica, comparación, datación.   Abstract             The datation of Tell el-Ghaba, North Sinai, Egypt, is based upon the study of the Egyptian and imported pottery within its stratigraphic context, together with other cultural material present at the site. Comparison is made with pottery coming from other sites in Egypt (Eastern Delta, Sinai and Upper Egypt) dated to the same period, and from the Levant and the Eastern Mediterranean. Historical records are considered too. The setting up of a ceramic corpus, now in progress, will let to establish definitively the datation of the site.
