Resumen:
One of the most active topics in nanotechnology is the synthesis, characterization, and functionalization of magnetic nanoparticles (NPs). Although NPs synthesis techniques is a wide field, laser ablation of solids in liquid media has emerged in recent years as a reliable, rapid and ?green? method for generating NPs in suspensions which are generally spherical in shape [1-4]. In this work, the optical, magnetic, and structural characteristics of Ni and Fe NPs colloids synthesized by UPLA of a Fe o Ni target were studied in water at different energies. Optical Extinction Spectroscopy (OES), Atomic Force Microscopy (AFM) and Vibrating Sample Magnetometry (VSM) were used to yield interrelated information.
