We obtain a non-negligible contribution to theparity-violating structure function $F_3(x,q^2)$in the process of glueball DIS in the hard-wall model based on  ${\cal{N}}=4$ SYM. We focus on the high energy limit,when the Bjorken parameter $x$ is small, by using the gauge-string duality. From the gauged supergravity side, the relevant term in the scattering amplitude arises due to the presence of the five-dimensional non-abelian Chern-Simons term related to the chiral anomaly of the CFT. By studying the string-theoretical origin of this term in the leading large $N$ approximation we derive an effective lagrangian describing the four-particle interaction in the local approximation. Then, we apply pomeron techniques to study the exponentially small regime where the local approximation breaks down since the diffusion effects become important.
