Resumen:
Quantum state estimation lies at the heart of many quantum information tasks. However, for large systems it becomes unfeasible because the number of measurements and the amount of computation required to process them grows exponentially in the system size. In this work we present a tomographic scheme for states with arbitrary symmetries based on the variational tomography scheme, which gives a reduction in the number of measurements and computational resources. We study its performance reconstructing quantum states from simulated quantum optics experimental data.
