Resumen:
?Finding a voice at work? is a book that analyses a debatedand controversial issue in the field of employment relations:can workers have a say in the way in which companies are run?Why and in which forms? The book addresses this issue throughthe prism of broad social science and policy debates, withoutconfining itself to self-referencing and, often, sterileacademic discussions. This broader approach, which ismirrored and strengthened also by the variety of ideologicalpositions presented by different contributors in the book, isa major achievement, especially considering the empiricismand theoretical and political blindness dominating the fieldof industrial relations. It helps to link considerationsabout the participation of workers in organizational decisionmaking processes based in specific workplaces to questionsconcerning justice, democracy and citizenship which arerelevant to societies at large.
