Resumen:
This article aims to analyze the shifts of modern Argentina?s religious field. Based upon statistical studies on beliefs and religious attitudes, we reflect on a wide range of issues like: the consequences of secularization in the argentine society, the new configurations on how people believe and practice religion, the shifts in religious identification, the religious diversification process and believers falling off the institutional frame, and finally, the people?s views on the religious intervention in public issues (such as education, sexual health, family planning).
