Resumen:
The Paraná River has the third and sixth largestriver discharges of South America and theworld, respectively. Thus, preserving historicalParaná hydrometric data is relevant for understandingSouth American and global hydroclimatechanges. For this reason, we rescued (imaged,digitized and quality controlled) paperformat data of Paraná water level observationstaken at Rosario City, Argentina, from January1875 to present. Here we briefly present this data rescue; a detaileddescription is provided.
