Resumen:
Se analizó el contacto histórico entre la selva andina y la selva atlántica mediante el estudio de la filogeografia de diferentes especies de aves que habitan dichos ambientes, encontrándose mayoritariamente evidencia a favor de que dicho contacto ocurrió probablemente a través de del Cerrado, durante periodos climáticos favorables.
