Abstract In this paper a discussion about how to model biofuelplants for the risk optimization is presented. The model is detailedand remarked paying special attention on the human error and thecontext for the new installations. The material is presented fromthe basic to advanced material and the all work is well referencedto help others engineers or researcher to implement or develop thismodel for biofuels production plant.This paper does not present an optimization method only show anddiscuss a model to optimize. However, references include thematerial for such work.
