Resumen:
?This work describes the production of scaffolds made of nanometric fibers of Gelatine/Calcium Phosphate byelectrospinning to be used in tissue engineering. The calcium phosphate samples were obtained from bovine hydroxyapatitetreatment with HCI throughout different periods of incubation. The amount of calcium and phosphate contained in the samples wasdetermined by complexometric titration and spectophotometry respectively. The phases in the samples and their crystallinity wereanalyzed via DRX and the size of the particles was assessment by diffraction light scattering. The electrospunscaffolds werecharacterized by confocal microscopy. The results show that the degree of crystallinity and the size of the calcium phosphatesamples gradually decrease with the period of incubation in acid. Thecalcium / phosphate ratiowas around 0.5, denoting that theycould be samples of acid calcium phosphate. The Gel/CaP scaffolds showed regular mesh with homogeneous fibers of nanometricsizeand the CaP crystals concentrated in the center of the fiber. Finally, the scaffolds were crosslinked with a glutaraldehydesolution in ethanol to improve the fibers? resistance when being immersed in aqueous environments, keeping their fiber integrityand structure after 5-days-immersion in distilled water.
