Resumen:
Waterbornepolyurethanes (WBPU) were preferred to regular polyurethanes (PU) that requirethe use of organic volatile compounds. In order to disperse the PU particles into water, ionic groups must beincorporated in their chemical structure. In this work, a waterborne polyurethanedispersion, WBPU, based on a vegetable oil (castor oil, CO, f=2.97) wassynthesized. Cellulose nanocrystals (NCC) were used in order to produce thenanocomposites by casting.
