VII (cf. Petasiger sp.), Echinocercaria sp. III, a cercaria of Riberoia sp., Furcocercaria sp. III, and Xiphidiocercaria sp. V (cf. Cercaria lutzi Ruiz, 1943) were described. Undetermined notocotylid cercariae were also present. Abundance of snails was related to temperature, increasing in winter and decreasing to nearly absent in summer. Prevalence of individual cercaria was low (0.1 - 6.1) but during predominance of echinocercariae, xiphidiocercariae and the notocotylids were absent and vice versa. Echinostome were present continually during the first year (winter 85-86), peaked in summer and disappeared for the rest of the period investigated, except for an infection recovered in winter 87. Xiphidiocercariae and notocotylid cercariae appeared nearly every 6 months after decreasing echinostome infections.
