Resumen:
The helminthological study of forty three specimens of Lysapsus limellum collected in a pond located 15 km from Corrientes City, province of Corrientes, Argentina (27°28?S - 58°50?W) between December, 2000 and January, 2001 has allowed us to detect the presence of third-stage larvae of the nematode Serpinema cf. trispinosum (Leidy, 1852). This nematode was collected from the intestine of the Hylidae frogs. This is the first record of Serpinema larvae from amphibians and from Argentina. The adults of S. trispinosum parasitic freshwater turtles for what his presence in these amphibians may reflect its role as paratenic host.
