Resumen:
Evagrius Ponticus was one of the most important theorizing of the acedia in the Patristic. He grants to this logismos an enormous weight in the development of the spiritual life. Besides, the acedia is a phenomenon that does not affect exclusively the monks but occupies also a place in the process of psychological maturation of the person. The demons and the angels possess a leading role in the configuration and the evolution of the acedia. If, according to Evagrius, the intention of the demons is to prevent the man from being able to know (Kephalaia gnostica III, 41), then the acedia must be a certain "ignorance" or, rather, the knowledge of a fictitious reality, or metareality, in which they could acquire the mastery of the soul. The intention of this paper is to show in which way the action of the demons and of the angels is interwoven in the development of the. acedic´s man soul.
