Resumen:
Disruption of skin homeostasis by environmental insultseventually activates pathologic circuitries leading to inflammationand carcinogenesis. Here we report essentialroles of Galectin-7 (Gal-7), a b-galactoside-binding proteinpreferentially expressed in keratinocytes (KCs), in skincarcinogenesis and inflammatory disorders. In a chemicallyinduced carcinogenesis model, mice constitutivelyover-expressing Gal-7 in KCs (Tg46 mice) showed highernumber (p
