Resumen:
Idiostolidae is a family with a disjunct transantarctic distribution. Until now the family comprising three genera with five species.The genus Idiostolus is distributed in south of Argentina and Chile. The objective of this contribution is to expand the knowledge of the genus Idiostolus.
