Resumen:
Neither of the two species of the only New World genus is likely to occur in Argentina. Until recently considered a subfamily of Lygaeidae (See J.Slater, 1964; 739 and J. Slater and O?Donell 1995, 83). This group was raised to family rank by Henry (1997a, 296).
