Argentina records one species in one genus of this small family of bugs.According to ?tys (1970, 1995c) the proper name for this family is Dipsocoridae and not Cryptostemmatidae.McAtee and Malloch (1925a) made a made a comprehensive work of this group including a suprageneric key of the complex (now the Dipsocoromorpha).
