Resumen:
The following list of Argentinian Colobathristidae accounts for three species in two genera. An illustrated key to the 13 Neotropical genera was given by Carvalho and Costa (1989a, 271?277). Horváth (1904) treated the family with keys to the then known genera and species. ?tys (1966) discussed the morphology and phylogeny of the family.
