Resumen:
Barber (1956, 282) originally proposed this group as a tribe in the lygaeid subfamily Cyminae (see J. Slater, 1964, 422 and J. Slater and O?Donnell, 1995, 42); Henry (1997a, 296) raised it to a full family. Scudder (1957) revised the ?tribe Ninini? and gave keys to the five genera and their species.Only two genera and three species are known in Argentina.
