Resumen:
The Pantomorus auripes species group, herein delimited, is endemic to central Argentina and includes four related species: P. auripes, P. prasinus, P. similis and P. fulvus, all of them described by Hustache in 1947. The paper provides a description of the species group and redescriptions of all its species, including new characters of the vestiture, mouthparts and genitalia. The details of the vestiture and the teeth of the fore tibiae are illustrated using SEM photographs, and the remaining diagnostic structures, with line drawings. The geographic distribution of the four species was mapped and analyzed, and a key for their recognition was given.
