The types of 153 nominal taxa of Reduviidae are listed. Their status as holotype, paratype or syntype is given as it is known or indicated by the description (no new designation ate made). References to original descriptions are given, and, when the taxon is currently known under a different name or status, to an explanatory work. Separately, 11 entries ate presented for the taxa in which the status of the specimens as types is somewhat uncertain. A list of so called  missing types includes 10 taxa of which the author has stated that the types ate in Helsinki, but they could not be located at present. Appendix I (with 88 entries) is a list such taxa as Bergroth described, but of which he did not give the type depository (the depository is mentioned if is known from secondary sources). Appendix II includes 24 taxa by other authors, the types of which are not in Helsinki, but of which the published records have incorrectly indicated the depository to be Helsinki, or published records state type unknown, althought the descriptions gives the depository.
