Resumen:
The
present report was carried out in order to elucidate some of the probable
phylogenetic relationships among the species of Eidmanni Taeuber. The plesiomorphic and apomorphic characters were
discriminated. The cladogram was obtained by using the technique of Wagner 78.
The monophyly of the genus Eidmannia
was established, as well as its out-group. From the cladogram it is inferred
the existence of two main groups: matogrossensis (including E. matogrossensis and E. obscura) and guyanensis (comprising E.
guyanensis, E. attaphila, E. beniensis and E. bahiensis). An analysis of the characters and their aggregations
into transformation series is included.
