Image pre-processing techniques for the new 30 THz infrared telescope

In this work we describe the image pre-processing techniques used in order to improve the visualization of solar events with the new 30 THz telescope located at the Estación Astronómica C. Cesco, El Leoncito, San Juan, Argentina. We focus particularly in the results of the application of flat-fielding, and limb darkening correction methods, as wellas, in algorithms to reduce the jittering caused by the atmospheric disturbances and the telescope tracking.
