Resumen:
The contamination of the machining waters coming from the olive industry with values of COD and BOD5 that exceed more than widely the current regulations has been reduced by the action of bioremediation microorganisms obtained from the same effluent, ie native. Its development was achieved by supplementing the effluent with a source of Carbon, Nitrogen and Phosphorus in the approximate 100: 5: 1 ratio, under conditions of aerobiosis at room temperature of 25 ° C for a period of 7 to 14 days. The microorganisms obtained achieve a reduction of approximately 40-80% of the specific parameters and pollution indicators such as BOD5, COD and Conductivity, transforming the effluent into a less polluted liquid that can be destined to other reuses or destinations.
