Resumen:
The conference will present a brief history of Chinese migration, the main characteristics of the diaspora in Buenos Aires and the role of migrant associations in the city as an important part of the diasporization process. After that I will present the different identifications we can find in Buenos Aires diaspora and how they work in the celebrations of Chinese New Year ritual.
