Resumen:
The osteology of two sibling species of Physalaemus. Ph. albonotatus and P. cuvieri, are studied. The main differences between them are related with the tyimpanic annulus, prevomers, and the cartilages of the larynx.Finalyy, some characters employed in the diagnosis of the genus by Lynch (1971) are discussed.
