Resumen:
The understanding of free radical polymerization kinetics is growing continuously. Laser-assisted techniques have contributed largely to the determination of rate constants. An overview of the technique and its possibilities are presented. Elementary steps of initiation, propagation and termination processes in radical polymerization and Initiation processes of peroxide species and chain length dependence of termination rate coefficients in free radical polymerization were exposed exemplary.
