Resumen:
The positioning of different renewable energy and environmentally friendly has allowed the proliferation of numerous microgrids systems of different characteristics and applications throughout the world. The aims of this document are to analyze the networks of electric microgrids in operational terms under the current context in which the electrical systems are developed. In particular, the electric microgrids are analyzed to determine their operational needs and also the resiliency of the electrical systems. The characteristics and benefits granted by the implementation of power electronic devices through FACTS technology are addressed to improve the operability of systems based on microgrids. In addition, it shows the advantages and facilities that can be achieved through the use of FACTS technology as a support link to improve the operation in resilient microgrids systems.
