Resumen:
Ion exchange from AgNO3 solutions was used to prepared Ag-ETS-10 samples with different content in Ag. Characterization by ICP, SEM, XRD, N2 physisorption, UV-vis and FTIR has been employed to correlate the Ag content in the Ag-ETS-10 samples with their main features and with their adsorption of propane and propylene. Even though propylene was favored over propane on the as-synthesized ETS-10 material, the gap between the adsorption of both hydrocarbons increases with the Ag-ETS-10 was 21 % wt, wich corresponds with a maximum saturation adsorption capacity measured a 311 K for propylene of 43 mg/g, being at the same conditions of 33 mg/g for propane. Besides, preliminary antimicrobiological test were carried out on some Ag-ETS-10 samples.
