Resumen:
In this abstract we show advances about metamorphism in the Precuyano Cycle and the lower part of Cuyo Group of Neuquen basin and its relationship with tectonic framework and evolutive of the andean margin during Lower Triassic-Upper Jurasic. Due to anomalous heat flow realted to the openning of the Neuquen basin and subsequent buried of the syn-rift rocks was affected by a very low-grade metamorphism. Later, the rocks were exhumed and cooled throught different stages of compresive deformation from Middle Jurassic. The characterictics and evolution of this metamorphism are similar to diastathermal metamorphic model.Evolution of the volcanic arc during Upper Triassic to Middle Jurassic exercised control on caloric flow of the basin and on transition of the syn-rift to post-rift.
