Resumen:
The use of metallic bone implants requires surface modification to improve thematerial properties, e.g., by using composite polymeric coatings. Electrospinning technique is highlyrecommended because the nanofiber structure mimics the extracellular matrix. Poly(ε-caprolactone) (PCL) is biocompatible and biodegradable, and bioglass (BG) can be included in the fibers providing osteogenesis and angiogenesis features.
