In order to characterize the candidate sites for the Cherenkov Telescope Array(CTA) project, the emission of the background sky is one of the data to study,with the purpose to assure the darkness of the zone. This emission is modulatedby several factors of terrestrial and extraterrestrial nature. In this study, weanalyse the contribution due to stars and Milky Way to the sky backgroundbrightness and present preliminary data from the preselected sites in Argentina,in San Juan and Salta provinces, based on the measurements made with twotypes of comercial photometer, the SQM-L and SQM-LR. The SQM were cross-calibrated to have comparable data from both sites.
