Limits on point-like sources ofultra-high-energy neutrinos with thePierre Auger Observatory

Withthe Surface Detector array (SD) of the Pierre Auger Observatory wecandetect neutrinos with energy between 1017eVand 1020eVfrom point-like sources across thesky, from close to the SouthernCelestial Pole up to 60◦ indeclination, with peak sensitiv-ities at declinations around∼−53◦and∼+55◦,and an unmatched sensitivity for arrivaldirections in the Northernhemisphere. A search has been performed for highly-inclinedairshowers induced by neutrinos of all flavours with no candidateevents found in data takenbetween 1 Jan 2004 and 31 Aug 2018. Upperlimits on the neutrino flux from point-likesteady sources have beenderived as a function of source declination. An unrivaledsensitiv-ity is achieved in searches for transient sources withemission lasting over an hour or less, ifthey occur within the fieldof view corresponding to the zenith angle range between 60◦and95◦wherethe SD of the Pierre Auger Observatory is most sensitive toneutrinos.p { margin-bottom: 0.1in; line-height: 115%; background: transparent }
