Abstract
Facies architecture belonging to the Rio Seco and Anta formations of the Oran Group (Metan Subgroup) in the area of the Las Tortugas stream (departament of Anta, province of Salta) has been studied. Facies analysis results in a meander fluvial environment for the Rio Seco Formation and broad flood plain for the Anta Formation.
