Resumen:
Urea-templated titania directly modified with tungstophosphoric acid (TPA) was synthesized via sol-gel, with 20 %TPA w/w, and was thermally treated between 100 and 600°C. The specific surface area of the mesoporous materials decreased and mean pore radius increased when raising the calcination temperature, less markedly with TPA addition. The crystallinity and particle size increased with calcination temperature but little with TPA addition. The band gap energy decreased with TPA introduction into TiO2, and with calcination temperature raise in a lesser extent. Keywords: Urea-templated titania, Tungstophosphoric acid, Mesoporous materials.
