The city of Mendoza is located in the west-centralregion of Argentina. Previous works, carried out byusing ERS SAR data and GPS, reported active crustaldeformation near the city [1, 2]. However, lack of usefulSAR data makes previous InSAR results ambiguous forquantitative evaluation of the detected displacements.Recent acquisition of an ENVISAT long-term datasetallowed us to characterize the currently ongoingdeformation effects within the area of interest (AOI).The processing technique used is the Small BAselineSubsets (SBAS) approach, which has been broadlyvalidated by investigating numerous sites around theworld [3].We discuss here some preliminary results regardingthree main deformation areas within the AOI.
