In thiswork, we use a Cosmo-Skymed SAR dataset acquired over the Viedma Glacier for estimating ice displacement time-series and mean velocity maps. The availableimages time-span covers approximately one year, from April, 2012 to January,2013. We used the PO-SBAS approach that has been successfully applied to monitor large volcano related deformation [11], [12]. Due to the characteristics of the site of interest, we modified such methodology by implementing a two-step approach for calculating the temporal evolution of pixel offsets: 1) a displacement model for assisting the OT algorithm was developed and implemented in order to reduce the computational cost; and 2) based on the OT co-variance matrix, an adaptive SAR data pairs combination strategy was adopted in order to increase the spatial density of the offset estimations. Finally time-series and mean velocity maps were computed as proposed in the PO-SBAS approach [11].
