Resumen:
Study of the ambient contamination of fungi origin has attained importance in the last years, due to the rise in the number of human and animals patients that are inmunocompromised and susceptible to suffer this kind of infection. The yeasts can be classified as pathogenic opportunists under specific conditions, being able to invade hematógen way and it proliferates. The excessive growth of yeasts is normally inhibited for the immunological system and the not specifics defense (intestinal flora, peristalsis, intestinal enzymes, and different factors). Changes of the qualitative or quantitative composition of the bacterial flora in the mucous or a deficiency in the specific parameters of the immunological system increase clearly the virulence of many yeasts and it can to invade and to cause invasive or systemic diseases. Cryptococcal disease can occur as primary disease progression in immunosuppressive host, or subclinical reactivation. The disease likely depends upon a interplay of factors associated with the organism and the host. By the other hand the risk factors for horses include disturbance of vegetation or soil by, digging, logging and hiking that can increase aerial the presence of aerosol particles. In general laboratory the horse samples from upper respiratory tract not were cultivate in mycological medium and only was studied bacteriological medium as well. The objective of the present study was to evaluate the frequency of yeast to mucosal superficial of nasopharinx of horses that live to field as ambient bioindicator. The samples were obtained by nasopharyngeal swabbing from farm in the Province of Buenos Aires, of 58 horses that suffered Adenitis Equine after six months. All the samples were cultivated in Saboureaud medium too with 2 % glucose and 0,05 % of cloranphenycol, without cicloheximide at 25-28ºC during 3 to 5 days and then sub cultivated in Chomagar® medium for veracity purist cultivate. Then the yeas were classificated with biolquimical characterizations. There were isolated See of animals and Sez of 4 animals.16 animals were positive to isolations of Criptococcus neoformans, others animals presented Rodhotorula, and Candida spp . The β hemolytic streptococcus equi zooepidemiccus is a normal habitant of nasopharyngeal cavity in healthy horses an S equi equi incoming when the disease is present o past. Cryptococcus neoformans was the isolated yeast with most frequency In this case the animals precede Adenitis that affects the upper respiratory tract and associated lymph nodes, six months ago. In others studies from farms, between 2004 and 2008 years, without reference of Adenitis, we not isolated Cryptococcus neoformans. The Criptococcus is often studied due to its importance as a mammalian pathogen, its common ecological niche is in the environment .Studies of naturally occurring isolates are of fundamental importance. It was concluded that nasopharyngeal mucous can be useful as bioindicator of air quality in equine production and that it is important for public health and a better understanding of the quality air.
