Resumen:
In this study, we investigated the electrical properties of Nd-doped cerium oxide (CeO2) films. Positron annihilation lifetime spectroscopy studies were also conducted, which evidenced that as the Nd content rises, a structural disorder caused by an increase in oxygen vacancies surrounded with Nd (defective clusters) occurs. During the electrical characterization of the films, we also observed that when the neodymium impurities increased, the conductivity increases due to the hopping conduction mechanism between defective species.
