Resumen:
The Pd coupling reactions are widely used inorganic synthesis. Among this group, the Heckreaction occupies a main role in the arylation ofalkenes, with wide application in the synthesis ofnatural products. Moreover, the Stille reaction is apowerful method in organic synthesis due to itsbroad functional group tolerance and the stability ofthe reagents. In the last years, developments in coupling reactionsare based on designing selective and stable ligands.Although phosphines ligands play a preponderantrole in this field, arsines have shown to be excellentsupporting ligands, but relatively fewhave been prepared and applied incatalysis. Recently we havedeveloped a family of biarylarsineligands that show excellent activity inStille reaction. Herein we report theevaluation of bulky arsine L1 (Figure1) in Stille and Heck reactions.
